Week 17: A pony and their favorite toy!
That's me nodding off holding Velvie, my 20+ year old velveteen rabbit. (He's more faded IRL than he looks there. And that's a denim patch on his head, with his chewed-off ear safety-pinned to it.)

I've had plenty of toys I've really enjoyed over the years, a few longer than Velvie; but none have received as much love as him. He's way overdue for real-hood, but also too old to make it in the wild (I think).

I went with color pencils on Velvie for the juxtaposition to the digital flat-color. I think I really just wanted to type/say "juxtaposition" .
